The trend is clearly shown on the graphs of the Internet Observatory, which analyzes the use of bandwidth in Europe.

On 19 January, the date of closing Megaupload and Megavideo by the FBI, the streaming is down. At the same time, P2P from 1% to over 10% of the bandwidth. This suggests that this revival is due primarily to fans of movies and series, that have to download the content they used to consume up to live on the internet. This is especially BitTorrent advantage of this renewed enthusiasm for P2P.
